Paul Martinez:

Photographer/Editor based in Southern California (in El Cajon, near San Diego).

I am editor and chief photographer of PHOTOSPORT. I am affiliated with the STAR-NEWS, Chula Vista, California. Over the past 18 years, I have had the privilege of shooting some of the world's most important sporting events, including the Olympics, the Olympic Festival (most recently, Olympic Cup), the Kentucky Derby, the Women's World Cup, as well as some NFL, MLB, and MLS events.

PHOTOSPORT's strengths are away from the Big Four major sports. I shoot a lot of events like the X-Games, the WTA Tennis tour, NCAA events of all varieties, NGB events at the OTC, prep and amateur sports, and sports-themed advertising images.

Founded in 1993 as the Southwestern News Service (SNS), PHOTOSPORT is now an important international supplier of sports images.
